These are a few of the projects i've embarked on, all linked with my obsession with eurorack modular synthesizers: cases, bags, power, sound and speakers. Some of the pages are incomplete but hopefully should be able to update as time goes by. Follow my blog for updates.

I'm interested in how the changing landscape of technology and manufacturing has affected how diyers and make enthusiasts design and work. Digital advances, technological developments and changes in attitude now means you can make and develop ideas in a professional manor for very little investment. Many people do this for a hobby and others are able to be micro boutique makers, like me, as it no longer requires specialist teams to design, produce and bring things to market.

With the aim of providing the highest quality for the cheapest price, I have been able to develop some of these into viable commercial products, with very little cost. If i can get the costs down, i may make them for sale, if not the work and ideas can be shared. So far ive been able to develop a high quality case i can make available for sale. I need some more time on the bags, working on pattern designs and material costs, before I can make some for sale, but hopefully shouldnt be long.

After building a eurorack setup,i wanted to take it about of the house, maybe gig, definitely jam. I needed a case. I looked into converting one of the cheap ones from ebay. But the quality was superbad, terribly built. Dont really understand why you would send £100's if not £1'000's and put your hard earned modules into a crappy case.

I looked into how to make high quality cases, a flightcase seemed obvious but wanted it briefcase style. So i went about researching how I could make the highest quality case that was lightweight, portable and strong. I have enough cases now, so will am able to offer these for sale.

Ive been obsessed with bags, for as long i can remember, i have so many bags, bigbags, small bags, day packs, manbags, tactical bags, medical first responder bags, a lot of bags. So i definitely need another bag...

There isnt the right kinda of bag for my wants that fits the eurorack world. I wanted to design a carry bag for my modular that also looked good enough to use on its own. Obviously as bags are a bit of an obsessions I have developed it into into three viable options. Moving forward with the idea of modular synths, the bags try to emulate the idea of being modular, are flexible and designed for you to build your bag to your needs.
